MILFORD >> The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce is holding a contest for a design logo, style and tagline to serve as the visual identity of the Milford Chamber of Commerce. Looking for some great, free dental logos to incorporate into your marketing materials, online-logomaker.com guys will do an amazing job in giving you more options with your logo design.

“The logo should be creative, innovative and professional, while also being legible, and should reflect the Milford Chamber’s mission to advance the business and local communities,” a Chamber press release states.

The competition is open to Milford-area businesses and individuals and entrants must be in Connecticut.

Chamber officials said they recommend entrants keep in mind the logo will be featured on promotional materials — brochures, T-shirts and more — and across all marketing materials going forward.

The designer of the winning selected branding items will receive compensation in the form of chamber services, which could include: a free Chamber membership (up to $500), a free ad in the upcoming year’s business and community directory, two free email blasts to promote the winner’s company or events, and an enhanced listing in the chamber’s online business directory.

Interested participants may download the creative brief, prepared by the Chamber, that will assist in creative development, according to the release.

Here are the rules, according to the release: The competition runs from April 10 to May 26 at 4:30 p.m. All entries must include a proposed logo, a proposed style guide and can also include a suggested tagline. The entries must also be initially submitted as a high-resolution pdf via email with the subject line “Milford Logo Competition Entry” to lgray@milfordct.com. Entrants should provide complete contact details.

After the winner is chosen, original files must be submitted, as well. For additional information, visit the Chamber’s website at www.milfordct.com or call Marketing Director Lauren Gray at 203-878-0681.
